my grandfather went home with the Lord on july 7th, 1.45am.
he died of lung cancer.

the memories of my ye ye(cantonese for grandfather) is very limited.
he was bed-ridden 14 yrs ago,
when i was arnd 3 yrs old.
he had a stroke and was unable to talk ever since.

i cant really rmb anything at 3yrs old or b4 that,
so i onli rmb him always on the bed and
reading chinese wuxia xiao shuo,
with his oversized thick glasses hanging at the rim of his nose.

whenever i visit him, i'll onli greet him and then run off with the cousins to play.
i probably did not know how much he longed to have a decent conversation with his grandchildren.

my mum told me that ye ye can cook really really well.
thats not very surprising judging from my dad's cooking.:D
he would cook all sorts of delicacies for my family and he loves food alot.
my uncles also recollected that ye ye loves to sing alot:)
his favourite song is the butterfly lovers song,
which my 4th uncle sang beautifully during the funeral:)

evr since he had stroke,
he could onli eat bland dishes w plain porridge.
for 14 yrs.

my cousin said that if he was ye ye,
he would haf given up 10 yrs ago.
if i were him, i would too.

imagine being unable to talk for 14 yrs and unable to eat good food too.
if ur a grandparent, how much you would want to play w ur grandchildren and haf fun with them!
my grandfather was deprived of all that for soooo long.

i can tell that ye ye was a really strong willed person.
anyone can be able to tell that.
the most important lesson that i learnt from him is to persevere on despite the circumstances.

if he can persevere for 14 yrs with his illness,
what little will do i need to be resilient with my trivial problems in life?

God has also taught me to cherish the people in my life

whenever i have the opportunity.

i think i really have to spend more time with my grandma

and talk to her more.

i thank God that he has placed ye ye in my life,
to be an example for his children and grandchildren despite e lack of communication.

im sad that ye ye had passed on, being like a part of my life since i was born.
something seems to be missing since he had gone.'

but im happy that now he has gone heavenward to be with God.
no more painful bed sores and breathing problems from now on!! :D
i noe that ye ye is now walking with God in heaven and singing praises with the heavenly hosts:D

frankly, i do not noe michael jackson very well.
i juz noe that he can dance.

but ever since i saw michael jackson's concert on dvd,
it left my mouth gaping wide coz
this person is born to groove!!
no one does the moonwalk as well as him, which is not surprising.

the more MVs i see of Michael Jackson,
the more pitiful i think he is.
to think that somone who had such a glorious past,
suffered such a sorry end.
with onli pills found in his stomach, he breathed his last living on drugs.
ate a tiny meal a day.

MJ died with debts accumulating to millions of dollars.
he could onli pay them off after performing in 50 concerts which he unfortunately could not attempt.

and he died without any hair.
i can see how much he treasured his curls when he was on stage
how his hair was part of the Michael look.
michael jackson passed on not looking like Michael Jackson.

to me,
michael jackson is the greatest performer i noe
and he always will be.

after seeing others' blogs, i suddenly feel like blogging again.
anw, i dun think anyone will see it so its now my unofficial private blog.haha.

CHURCH CAMP!!
it was really fun!
i got closer to God and i thank him for telling me that im SPECIAl:)
it means alot that a creator of the universe thinks that a small minute dot sized being in the face of the universe is being regarded as SPECIAL:)

i can feel that im drawn closer to him and i want to be closer.
my bible reading is not bad for a first timer attenpting to read the bible.haha
im at Ezra 4 i think.
quite embarrassed that an oldie christian like me haven attempted to read the bible once b4.
but better late than never,haha

guess wad else i did in CHURCH CAMP??
played BRIDGE!!! haha
bridge never fails to bore me man.
whenever got nth to do, play bridge.haha

and got dai di intervals in between when our brains are a bit fried.haha
on the lasy day, i played bridge till6am!!
that was sth i never got to do at the church camp 2 yrs ago!
it was like 2nd anniversary of my brideg playing
coz i started picking up bridge at the church camp 2 yrs ago!!

played cranium too. haha.
fun game to bond w friends!!

and somemore got indian poker!
i was so suay that night, i was one of the person w the lowest value card!!
had to down coke w coffee powder and tea bag contents!!
that justin think he so fun la, concoct all these funny things.haha

i could drink all the way
but when i wanted to swallow the tea leaves, it got stuck in front of my throat.
then i spit the drink into the cup.
then i drank it agn.
then i spit out agn.
then i drank it agn.
finally i spit it into th toilet bowl!
you tell me how am i supposed to swallow tea leaves??!!

but it was an experience none the less:))



recently, i went with the YMMP(Youth Mighty Men Prog) members to Nebo in AMK Hub to play boardgames.
at first the plan was to have a healthy cycle in East Coast Park but end up lazily chilling out in Nebo.coz ECP too far.haha.

wad a turnover.
anw, went there played Balderdash and Singapore Taboo!!
super fun!!
now i noe wad justin means when he said that BAlderdash is a game
where you haf to bluff ppl.

haha,i bluffed quite a number of ppl!! haha, i make a good conman, no, conwoman!

Singapore Taboo was really fun!! can play whole day man!
had to explain the words to ur members for them to figure out!
w/o saying words that you are not supposed to say!!
hence the game Taboo ma!! DUH!

anw, past few days was stressful and tiring.
had to stay at home to study for maths and econs midyrs.
ECONS CAN JUZ KILL ME!!!

i tot my brain juz melted when i ended the revision.
but not to worry, im a strong and healthy kid.
my brain solidifies easily.haha.

anw, ytd was maths and today was econs,
maths dunnit to say la.
quite hopeless.

all i can say is: if onli got no sch coz of H1N1!!!
and econs was quite ok la.
my onli wish is that i can pass th paper!

juz came back from wy's church captains ball!!
its quite fun la, seeing that i've never played for so long..
cant believe i've not touched captain's ball for so long man..

and come to think of it, netball too..
playing a game of caps with the netballers remind me
of how we played netball last time as a cca,
and how long i've not played it.. kinda miss it..

its ok, i'm gg to play it on monday!!
juz the game and no training!! muahahahah!!!!

anw, played bridge juz now..
cant believe how addictive it can be..
i oso cant believe how ppl can come up
w such interesting games out of a deck of poker cards.

i went for the GIANTS camp!!
it was really exhilarating:D
but not every part was exciting la..
the mosquito biting part was one..

i bet the mosquitoes had a feast on me man..
not to mention the bed bugs..
guess how many bites i got??
35 leh!!
and counting!!!
i cant bear to count anymore la..
will cause a blow to my fragile self..haha

now i've got bites scars all over my legs..
so sad!!!

now that was quite an anti-climax..
now for the climax of the camp..

i molested simon, e-von's boyfriend, for a few hours!!
i was carressing his butt the whole time!
noe why?
not that i'm harbouring any ill designs on him,
butt coz my grp was supposed to carry his body from a certain place to another,
then to my utmost delight,
i was selected to carry his butt!! yay!!

it was a real challenge you noe that..
i never carry an adult before, let alone an adult's butt!!
an actually it wasnt really a few hours la..
was juz arnd 5 to 10 min?
but trust me, it really felt like eternity..
when we put simon down,
my hand had a sort of serious aching until you feel like its flying,,
ever experienced that before?
i noe i did..haha

anw, the camp was really fun la..overall..
i learnt alot from chief charles itself, but i will not touch on that..haha..(insider's joke)
oops!! i was caught short-handed!!hahahaha!!
i oso made many new frens during the camp from BB and GB and they were really fun to be with:D

i always have this campsick feeling after camp ..
wonder if others experience it too..
juz wanna camp somemore and enjoy the company of many many ppl..(in the innocent kind of way la..)

anw, i played soccer on wednesday night!
it was really exhausting man!!
i think i never exercise for too long alr..
im still aching all over,,
but maybe ytd's jog also contributed to my achiness..
there's a price to pay for everything..
like the 2 dollars socks at daiso..
ok..thats a joke la..

ps. cant wait to wy's captain's ball game on sat!!!yay!!
